Founded in 2017, Khai Nguyen Dental Lab began with one very simple yet far-from-easy goal: to fully earn the trust of dentists through restorations of high esthetic quality. Milestones since 2017

1 December 2017 Khai Nguyen Dental Lab is founded in Ho Chi Minh City.
April 2022 the lab moves to its current workshop at 10/40-42 Xuan Dieu, now Tan Son Nhat Ward.
October 2022 Lê Thế Toàn becomes a strategic shareholder and co-owner alongside founder Nguyễn Vạn Hội, and is appointed Chief Executive Officer.
November 2022 with Sota-D and Shofu Dental, the lab runs hands-on training on the Shofu Vintage LD press, layering and stain system.
September 2023 the lab becomes an Invisalign lab partner in Vietnam.
11 January 2024 ISOCERT first issues ISO 13485:2016 certificate No. 9199293420717-MED to Khai Nguyen Lab as a business household, covering all-ceramic restorations and surgical guides.
January 2024 Khai Nguyen Lab becomes a strategic partner of Ivoclar in Vietnam.
11 March 2025 recertification to Khai Nguyen Dental Lab Co., Ltd., with the scope extended to six product groups.
11 April 2025 the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health accepts Class B medical-device declarations No. 250000953/PCBB-HCM (porcelain veneers) and No. 250000951/PCBB-HCM (all-ceramic restorations).
25 June 2025 the Ministry of Health issues four Certificates of Free Sale for all-ceramic and implant-supported restorations.
November 2025 our technicians visit Poland to exchange with partner dentists and labs on European operating and technical standards.
6 April 2026 ISOCERT reissues the certificate after the annual surveillance audit; it is valid to 10 March 2028.

Quality system and regulatory documents

The current ISO 13485:2016 scope covers the manufacture and trade of porcelain veneers, metal-free ceramic restorations, porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations, implant-supported restorations, removable dentures and dental appliances. In practice this means materials are logged by brand and batch, delivery notes name the material manufacturer and carry both Class B declaration numbers, and complaints and remakes are recorded against the case. What the lab makes

Veneers and pressed ceramics: IPS e.max Press, GC Initial LiSi Press, Shofu Vintage LD Press, no-prep feldspathic veneers and inlays, onlays and overlays.
Zirconia crowns and bridges on blanks such as ZirCAD Prime, Lava, Cercon and DDBIO.
Implant work: implant crowns and bridges and full-arch restorations on TiBases or bars.
Splints and appliances: stabilization splints, sleep appliances, sports mouthguards and surgical guides.
Diagnostic wax-ups and a CAD design service for labs and clinics that mill or print in-house.

Our digital workflow

We take STL, PLY and DCM files from intraoral scanners and design in exocad. Physical models are digitised on a Ceramill Map600 desktop scanner. Restorations are milled on an imes-icore CORiTEC 350i PRO, which the manufacturer specifies for 5-axis simultaneous machining, wet and dry processing on one machine and integrated temperature compensation. On request we send a design preview so you can approve contour and contacts before production.

Nguyễn Vạn Hội, the lab’s founder and lead technician, reviews the technical content published on this site. Our technicians are selected and trained on a regular schedule, including training and professional exchange with material manufacturers and clinicians. The way we work follows our five core values: ethics, dedication, adaptability, responsibility and reliability.
