About the clinic
We have had the privilege of working with Dr Ho Le Bao An’s clinic over an extended period. Dr Tony Dental is a leading practice located in central Ho Chi Minh City, known for Invisalign and veneer treatment, and has built a large body of esthetic work with precision and care.
What a long-running clinic partnership changes
Working with the same clinic over time changes what the laboratory can assume. Preparation style becomes predictable, the clinician’s shade preferences are known, and the level of surface texture that suits their patient base is already established. That accumulated context is why a long partnership generally produces fewer remakes than a series of one-off cases — not because the technical work differs, but because fewer things have to be guessed.

What our other posts on this partnership record
This case was shared in April 2024 as part of our “Repost Clinic Series” on Facebook. The original post gives no technical details for this particular case (material, number of units, shade), so we have not added any here. Our other posts about work with Dr Ho Le Bao An do record how the two teams work together:
- Veneers 15–25 (December 2019): shade BL2, GC Initial LiSi pressed ceramic, hand-layered at the lab.
- Partnership overview (June 2022): the veneers made for the clinic over the partnership have used LiSi and e.max.
- Diastema with a missing lateral incisor (April 2025): clinic and lab agreed to reshape the canine into a lateral incisor to close the space and restore the smile’s proportions. The lab designed the veneers on CAD/CAM to control margins and occlusion. A technician then finished them with hand-layered ceramic.
The 2025 case shows the order of work most clearly: clinic and lab agreed the tooth form first, the digital design fixed margins and occlusion, and hand layering came last.
Veneer materials we work with
For veneers we press IPS e.max Press, GC Initial LiSi Press and Shofu Vintage LD Press. For no-prep or minimal-prep cases we hand-layer feldspathic veneers. The right one depends on the preparation shade, the thickness available and how much translucency the clinician wants. Sending us a veneer case
To work this way the lab needs photographs of the preparation shade and target shade, an approved wax-up or mock-up, and a usable scan or impression. Dental photography for the laboratory covers the photo set. If tooth form still needs to be agreed, we can design a diagnostic wax-up within 12 hours.
