On 7 March 2026 the clinical seminar “A Comprehensive Digital Restorative Strategy: from Veneer Esthetics to Full-Arch Implants”, organised by Khai Nguyen Dental Lab together with Viet Dang Company, took place at the Harmony Saigon Hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Registration was fully booked before the event and the seminar drew a large audience of dentists.

Why Khai Nguyen organises seminars like this

The programme covered what the lab meets every day when cases arrive from clinics: thin veneers that demand conservative preparation, smile design that needs digital facial data, and full-arch implant cases increasingly recorded with photogrammetry instead of conventional impressions. When dentist and lab share one digital language, try-ins and remakes drop noticeably. That is also why Khai Nguyen keeps running training and clinical exchange with dentists alongside operating under an ISO 13485 quality management system.

The booth showed the restoration lines the lab produces: pressed and feldspathic veneers, multilayer zirconia crowns and bridges, implant restorations from single crowns to bar-supported full arches, with real case samples so dentists could inspect translucency and surface texture directly. Technicians were on hand to discuss material selection and the digital case submission workflow, and the booth ran interactive activities with souvenirs for visiting dentists.

What it means for the lab

For Khai Nguyen, taking part in congresses such as SYD is a chance to hear dentists’ clinical needs and follow new treatment directions, and to adjust production accordingly. It is the lab’s second consecutive year at major industry events, following HSDI 2024.
